Section 1: The Clarity Document

Before you can be resilient, you need to be clear. Clear on why you are doing this, what you are willing to sacrifice, and what you are not. Complete this document and return to it whenever you feel lost.

3 Clarity Questions

1. Why did I start this business? (Not the Instagram version — the real, honest reason.)

2. What does success look like for me in 12 months? (Be specific — income, lifestyle, impact.)

3. What am I willing to sacrifice to get there? And what am I not willing to sacrifice?

My Non-Negotiables

These are the things I will protect no matter how busy or pressured the business gets.

My Definition of Enough

Founders often chase goalposts that keep moving. Define "enough" now, before the noise starts.

Enough revenue per month: £

Enough working hours per week:

Enough social media followers:

Enough products in my range:

Enough means I can:

"Clarity is not a luxury. It is your compass. Without it, every decision becomes harder, every setback feels personal, and every comparison cuts deeper." — Bhavna Rishi

Section 2: Imposter Syndrome Reset Worksheet

Every founder experiences imposter syndrome. The goal is not to eliminate it — it is to recognise it, challenge it, and move forward anyway.

Recognise the Voice

What is the imposter voice saying right now? Write it down exactly as you hear it.

Challenge It — Reframing Exercise

The Imposter Says...The Truth Is...
"Who am I to start a fashion brand?"
"Other brands are so much further ahead."
"What if nobody buys anything?"
"I do not have the right background for this."
"I am not creative / business-minded enough."
(Write your own):

Evidence Collection

Write down 10 things you have already achieved, learned, or overcome. The imposter forgets your history — do not let it.

Your Reset Statement

Write one sentence you will read to yourself when the imposter voice gets loud. Make it personal and powerful.

Bhavna's Tip: Imposter syndrome is loudest right before a breakthrough. If you feel it intensely, it usually means you are doing something brave. Keep going.

Section 3: The 3 Boundaries Planner

Sustainable businesses are built by founders who protect their time, their energy, and their headspace. Define your three boundaries here.

Boundary 1: Time

My working hours are:

I do not work on:

My phone goes on Do Not Disturb at:

I batch these tasks so they do not bleed into every day:

Specific actions I will take to protect this boundary:

1.

2.

3.

Boundary 2: Emotional Energy

I will not check sales numbers more than:

I will limit social media scrolling to:

Accounts I need to mute or unfollow because they trigger comparison:

When I feel overwhelmed, I will:

1.

2.

3.

Boundary 3: Other People's Opinions

Whose opinion actually matters for my business decisions? (Name 2-3 people max)

Whose opinions do I need to stop internalising?

My standard response when someone gives unsolicited advice:

Specific actions to protect this boundary:

1.

2.

3.

Section 4: Inner Circle Builder

You cannot do this alone — and you should not try to. Identify the 3-4 people who will be your support system and schedule regular check-ins.

Your Support Circle

Person Role (Mentor / Peer / Cheerleader / Accountability) How They Help Check-In Frequency Next Check-In Date

Gaps in Your Circle

Do you have a mentor who has done what you are trying to do?

Do you have a peer at the same stage to share the journey with?

Do you have someone who will celebrate your wins without jealousy?

Do you have an accountability partner who will hold you to your commitments?

What action will you take to fill any gaps?

Section 5: Weekly Energy Planner

Not every day requires the same type of energy. Match your tasks to your energy levels so you work with your natural rhythm, not against it.

Weekly Energy Map

Day Energy Level (High / Medium / Low) Priority Task Type of Work (Creative / Admin / Strategic / Rest)
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday
Bhavna's Tip: Do creative work when your energy is highest. Save admin for low-energy windows. Never make big decisions when you are tired, hungry, or just got off social media.

Section 6: The 48-Hour Quit Rule Journal

Every founder has moments where they want to quit. The 48-Hour Rule says: when you feel like quitting, write it down, wait 48 hours, then revisit. Most of the time, the feeling passes.

Quit Rule Entry

Date:

What triggered this feeling?

What am I actually feeling? (Tired? Scared? Frustrated? Lonely?)

Is this a rest problem or a direction problem?

What would I tell a friend in this situation?

48 hours later — do I still feel this way?

Decision: Rest / Adjust / Pivot / Keep Going

When to Rest vs When to Pivot

Signs You Need RestSigns You Need to Pivot
You are exhausted and everything feels hardYou have lost genuine interest in the product
You cannot think clearly or make decisionsThe market has given you clear no's for 6+ months
You have not taken a day off in weeksYour business model cannot sustain itself financially
A weekend away would fix how you feelYou dread the work itself, not just the challenges
You still love the vision but hate the paceA different direction excites you more

Section 7: Quarterly Business & Wellbeing Review

Every 3 months, pause and review both your business and your wellbeing. One without the other is not sustainable.
