About
Twenty years from sketch to shelf, and counting.
I started in corporate project management, American Express, structured timelines, large teams. I loved the mechanics of getting complex things done. What I didn't love was the distance from the product.
In 2010 I was invited to show my first collection to a Waldorf X British Fashion Council show. The response changed everything. Within the year I had my first institutional client. By 2016 I was the continuous producer for the V&A Museum, a relationship that would last eight years and span exhibitions for Frida Kahlo, Mary Quant, and a dozen others.
Along the way I built Bhavna Rishi London into a licensed merchandise studio trusted by the British Museum, Royal Collection Trust, Chatsworth House, Fenwick, Orvis, Limewood Hotel, and the licensing agency Iconic Images, producing scarves and accessories from the photographic archives of David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe, and Brigitte Bardot.
What I've learned, about factories, about retail buyers, about colour-matching and MOQs and packaging and the small decisions that separate a product from a bestseller, I now teach to founders. Not theory. The actual craft, from someone who does it every week.

A gym for your business
A gym gives you the equipment, the coaching, and the accountability to get physically fit. What it can't give you is the hours on the machines. That part is yours.
The BuildTheDreamBrand Method works the same way. I give you the skills, the system, the coaching, and the accountability. You bring the vision and the work ethic. What comes out the other side is a brand built on craft, not shortcuts.
I believe the brands worth building are the ones that get it right from the inside out. Through Designer Friday, I collaborated with Indian women artisans to transform excess fabric into timeless pieces, because the future of fashion belongs to founders who understand that people, processes, and planet are not competing priorities. They are the foundation. When production decisions support communities, honour craft, and create something genuinely worth keeping, that is not idealism. That is the standard.
